CITIES, AND WHAT THEY DON'T PUT IN THE GUIDEBOOK
August Vale won't tell you what he does for a living. He'll tell you where to stay, where to eat, and which street to avoid after dark. Field guides built from cities his work keeps taking him to — his experience, compressed into a PDF you carry.

03 — THE STORY
WHEREABOUTS UNCONFIRMED
My name is August Vale. I can't tell you exactly what I do for a living — only that the work has taken me to more cities than I can easily remember. Sometimes for a few days. Sometimes considerably longer. My clients value discretion.
My friends know better than to ask about the work. They ask about the places instead — where to stay, where to eat, which neighborhood to avoid. Over the years, I realized I usually had an answer. I notice things. It comes with the work.
You'll get a PDF — a sort of field guide to the city. I don't only want to share my experience. I want you to recreate your own.
